Our development stage drugs are small molecules, derived from a proprietary chemical library and cell-based screening platform, designed to treat a broad range of tumors (including drug-resistant and difficult-to-treat cancers) and to reduce damaging effects of radiation exposure.

Onconova's library currently has more than 125 chemotypes and thousands of unique compounds. Most are simple two- or three-ring structures, with molecular weight less than 500 dal. Molecules targeting kinases by a non-ATP competitive mechanism have been identified and are part of the Company's growing clinical and pre-clinical pipeline of product candidates.
